The F.A.R.A. Charity Shop on Dove Street in Norwich

FARA Charity Shop sells good quality items including clothes, books, records, bric-a brac; all generously donated by the public. All donations brought to the shop are accepted and we also offer a limited collection service. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept large items of furniture due to the floor space available and at present we do not accept electrical goods. New stock is displayed every day so it is worthwhile visiting frequently to browse and purchase.

All profits generated from the FARA shops provide funding for projects in Romania including our two children’s homes, foster care programmes and the recently opened Samuel Centre for children with disabilities.

We endeavour to ensure the shop has a welcoming ambience which provides a friendly and safe environment for our customers. Through this we believe we achieve a dual purpose – we are able to serve the people of Norwich whilst also generating funds for FARA’s work in Romania.

The staff enjoys working as a team and share the common goal of satisfying the needs of our customers. This enables us to have a close relationship with the local community of Norwich and to continuously strive to offer new and interesting goods in the shop.
