The World Shop is staffed by volunteers and all profits are used to fund NEAD’s educational work in schools and with the local community.
The World Shop was Norfolk’s first Fairtrade Shop accredited by the British Association of Fair Trade Shops (BAFTS). We only buy from carefully chosen suppliers who guarantee a fair price and decent working conditions for the artists and producers who make the goods. Stable prices allow money to be reinvested in the community. This means the whole community benefits from your purchase at the World Shop.
We sell a wide range of fairly and ethically traded products from all over the world. From tea, coffee, chocolate, crafts, musical instruments and handmade paper to clothing, footwear, accessories, jewellery, textiles, books, magazines, world music CDs and much, much more.
